Tall Tales pt2The bard was back on the streets on the following day, doing what he did best. At least what a bard should be able to do best: singing. Few passersby took any notice of him, and he grew tired of their indifferent attitude towards him. The environment itself did not help the bard with his goal. Dirty children ran around playing bastardization of games which were based upon God knows which rules originally. The adults were either chasing some escaped pig, or attending other businesses. The bard sighed and, with a lute in hand, started to sing. The song had the same tune as the one which he had sung in the tavern during the previous night.Tall Tales pt2

Tall TalesThe bard sat on his own in one of the corners of the tavern methodically checking his lute. Few people noticed that he was there, and those that did notice him kept away from him for they suspected what he was. "Never do business with a bard," their mother had warned them, "for a bard would steal your possessions and gladly sell them back to you." The lute was in an acceptable condition, the bard realised when he considered that he had to cross a shallow lake with his instrument in hand. Suddenly a note struck on a lute could be heard in the tavern. The bard had started to sing a song.Tall Tales
