ImagesMy eyes snapped open. Was I dreaming? No, I never dream. At least I think I never dream, it's hard for me to tell.  Something was ticking by my left ear, I turned my head slightly towards the source of the noise. A mechanical clock showed in the dim light, nothing extraordinary. Certainly nothing to be alarmed about. The second hand was attempting to move around its path, but it was held back by a broken minute hand. This mechanical being lied about the time.  I looked at the only source of light in the entire room, the window.  At once, a series of varying images flashed before my eyes. In order to attract a few readers, and at the same time try something new, I am going to do a small contest in conjunction with a Short tale for Tall people.
The contest will go something like this: when I posted the latest chapter I left the ending open for as much branches as possible (although it's still a bit limited) so that you, the reader, will be able to “choose your path”. This will not be done because I'm too lazy to continue the story, on the contrary, I have it all written down. This will be done just for the fun of it and anyone can participate, provided that they keep with the story setting. You are not obliged to keep with the same narrative style that I use (although it is preferred).
The stories should be posted on your respective pages with a link back to either my page or the prologue of aStfTp, preferably both. After you've fulfilled the requirements, send me a note so that I may post a link back to your pages.
